Gentleheel® Preemie is designed for preterm infants weighing between 1 and 2.5 kg. The incision system enables safe, controlled blood sampling while taking into account the sensitive skin structure of this patient group.

The beveled blade creates an exceptionally smooth, sharp and less traumatic incision. Hardened stainless steel helps achieve a precisely defined incision depth—for consistent results and uncomplicated wound healing.

The blade automatically retracts after activation, significantly reducing the risk of needlestick injuries. At the same time, the closed system helps prevent contamination or unintended reuse.
